In a bizarre collaboration that breaks usual forecasts, Ubisoft has revealed an virtual crossover between Assassin's Creed Shadows and the renowned anime series Attack on Titan. The surprising holiday event continues from November 25 through December 22, including no-cost additional story content for Shadows players.

Mysterious Questline Disclosed

According to the authorized announcement, "An unusual meeting pulls protagonists Naoe and Yasuke into a new adventure, where rumors of forbidden practices and terrifying transformations reverberate through the obscurity." The storyline presents a "strangely attired woman named Ada" who assigns the duo with venturing into the Crystal Cave—a important location from Attack on Titan—to save her ally from a clandestine sect.

The questline concentrates on "strange tests and a fearsome foe" and is available to all players who have acquired the Yasuke character.

Familiar Settings and Transformations

The teaser showcases the Hidden Temple from Attack on Titan recreated as the Crystal Cave. This historic location was previously where the Reiss royal family transmitted the Founding Titan ability through ages. The preview concludes with a powerful moment showing a character, probably the hostage, morphing into a Titan that towers over Naoe and Yasuke.
